On Thursday, June 4, 2026, Long Beach will host a variety of engaging events for the community. At the LBWIN Adult Career Services Center, from 9:00 to 11:00 am, the Long Beach Workforce Innovation Network Board Meeting and an Adult In-Person Orientation will take place, aimed at providing career services and support for adults. Later in the day, from 3:00 to 7:00 pm at the Brewitt Neighborhood Library, a DIY Pride Pin crafting event will encourage attendees of all ages to create their own Pride-inspired buttons and wearable art, with supplies and templates provided. Additionally, participants can join "A Quiet Place to Write" at the Burnett Neighborhood Library from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, where adults can enjoy a serene hour for writing, with an optional prompt available. For assistance with this event, contact Luisa Leija at 562-570-1041.
