Mike Levine & Miami Spice

Mike Levine is a renowned jazz pianist based in Miami, recognized for his outstanding contributions as a player, producer, and composer since the early 1980s. He gained national attention with his debut in 1981 as co-leader of The Ross-Levine Band, which featured guest artist Pat Metheny and produced a hit that remained in the top ten of the AC-Jazz Chart for six weeks. Throughout his career, Levine has opened for esteemed performers such as Michael Franks, Gato Barbieri, and Dionne Warwick, and has collaborated with artists like Mel Tormé, Michael Bolton, and David Sanborn, enriching the jazz scene with his diverse performances across various international venues and festivals.

Levine's discography includes several successful albums, such as "From The Heart," which showcased special guests Hiram Bullock and Ed Calle, and reached the SmoothJazz.com Indie Chart for over forty weeks. His subsequent albums, including "Thinking Of You" and "Star Gazing," also garnered chart success, while his latest project, an EP released in September 2024, features a collaboration with talented musicians from South Florida. Currently, he performs with his sextet, "Miami Spice," which includes Latin Grammy-winning percussionist Richard Bravo and his son Sam Levine on drums, bringing a vibrant fusion of jazz and Latin influences to audiences.
