Greywater: Reliable Year-round Water to Keep Your Garden Growing
Reusing shower and laundry greywater to irrigate our gardens ensures that we have consistent water available to our plants even in the heat of the summer months. In this talk, you will learn how to budget your greywater to match your landscape, what you can and can't water with greywater, how to design a greywater system that is economical, and what is legal and may require a permit in San Diego.
The Escondido Creek Conservancy partners with Elfin Forest Recreational Reserve to put on Conservation Conversations, a quarterly lecture series where speakers are invited from across San Diego County to share their knowledge about local conservation topics and issues in our region.
Lectures occur in January, April, July, and October on the 3rd Thursday from 6pm-7pm. This event take place at the Interpretive Center at Elfin Forest Recreational Reserve. Topics range from coexisting with coyotes, to stargazing, to herpetology, to native plants, and more.
