How to Homeschool Workshop (Refreshments NEW For 2026)

All parents interested in homeschooling are welcome!

-How to meet legal requirements for your state of residence (as homeschool laws vary by state)
-The latest options and resources to tailor your curriculum and choose the best teaching techniques for your unique student
-Educational overviews on teaching multiple ages and grades, school schedules, recordkeeping, and more
-Greater confidence to begin or continue your homeschool journey!
As part of our How to Homeschool workshop, MPE’s Unique Learners Coordinator, Suzanne Wandling, will discuss the benefits of Learning Screenings. Families of children with special needs – dyslexia, speech delays, and sensory processing issues – may connect with providers about scheduling screenings. For example, speech screenings help detect potential speech or language delays, speech disorders, and other issues that may affect a person’s ability to communicate effectively.
