An exciting tour down Ryan Street led by our docent team and comped admission to the Imperial Calcasieu Museum on the date of the scheduled tour!

Imagine the life the early Lake Charles denizens lived while walking the same busy street! Showcasing the city's founding, community resilience, and architectural beauty, this tour does it all. Beginning at the 1911 Historic City Hall, going to the Muller's Department Store, and ending at the Courthouse, the tour highlights key events like the Great Fire of 1910 and the city's historic preservation efforts.
This tour varies in length between an hour and an hour and a half in duration. Tour groups will meet outside the front of Historic City Hall (1001 Ryan St.) and will start promptly at the scheduled time. Any late arrivals are welcome to catch up!
Please come prepared for the elements.
