Details:
This immersive engineering summer camp, hosted on Biola University's campus, gives high school students the opportunity to learn directly from Biola engineering faculty. Participants will design and build a working automaton using industry-standard tools such as SolidWorks, then bring their ideas to life by prototyping with 3D printers and laser cutters. Through a rigorous, hands-on, college-level project-based learning experience students will learn and apply the Engineering Design process from concept to completion. Along the way, they'll build friendships and lasting memories with fellow students. For overnight campers, they will experience authentic college life through residence hall living. They will also have the opportunity to participate in fun on-campus and local excursions in the evening. Note: This camp is for high school students only (9th - 12th) . If you attend one of these partner high schools - Whittier Christian High School, Crean Lutheran High School, Western Christian Schools, Grace Brethren High School, Pacifica Christian High School or Valley Christian San Jose - please connect with us about member pricing.
