The Neurobiology of Traumatic Stress and the Healing Power of Yoga
Weekend Workshop with Dr. Janine D’Anniballe, PhD, RYT
Join Dr. Janine D’Anniballe for a thoughtful and informative weekend workshop exploring the intersection of trauma, neuroscience, yoga, and healing. Through a compassionate and accessible approach, Dr. D’Anniballe will offer a framework for understanding psychological trauma and how traumatic stress manifests in both the body and mind.
Participants will learn about the latest research in the field of trauma studies, including the neurobiology of traumatic stress and the impact trauma has on the nervous system. This workshop will also explore how yoga and mindfulness practices can help regulate the body, manage symptoms of traumatic stress, and support healing and resilience.
This experience is designed for yoga practitioners, teachers, mental health professionals, caregivers, and anyone interested in deepening their understanding of trauma-informed healing practices.
