In 2011, Cody Chytka stumbled upon 1882 East King Road, determined to turn it into something special. That first night, he bought a box of beer and a mailbox, inadvertently birthing the Crooked 8 when one of the numbers was misaligned. Originally from Belle Fourche, South Dakota, Cody's vision blossomed into Idaho’s premier rodeo and concert venue. In 2023, he launched the Crooked 8 HoeDown, a vibrant 2-day festival featuring 10 bands, solidifying Crooked 8 as a bustling hub for rodeos, concerts, and celebrations.
