Ribbon Cutting: Jackson Street Commons

Join the Greater Kokomo Chamber of Commerce as we celebrate the ribbon cutting of The Peace Garden at Jackson Street Commons! July 15th from 11 to 11:30 AM. The Peace Garden serves as a place of reflection and remembrance, honoring three groups who sacrificed greatly for peace: Pearl Harbor survivors, victims of Japanese-American internment, and the soldiers of the 100th Battalion. It highlights both their bravery and the injustice and prejudice they endured during World War II. Through its design and symbolism, the garden stands as a lasting tribute to resilience, unity, and the enduring importance of peace. Join us for this special community celebration!
