Fourth of July on Mabry's Hill

Located with breathtaking views of downtown Knoxville and the Great Smoky Mountains, Mabry's Hill is the perfect backdrop for the city's fireworks display. This family-friendly celebration offers a variety of activities for all ages, including sack races, watermelon seed spitting contests, bocce, croquet, corn hole, tug-of-war, and a cake walk, among others. Attendees can engage in a reading of the Declaration of Independence and explore a historic document about the unfinished revolution in the United States. Don't miss the chance to win a delicious cake from a local bakery during the cake walk! The historic house museum will also be open for self-guided tours. We recommend purchasing pre-sale tickets early, as the event typically sells out.
