Details:
Join us for the Fourth of July on Mabry's Hill, an event that captures the essence of 19th-century Independence Day celebrations, where communities united for a day of patriotic enjoyment. Located with breathtaking views of downtown Knoxville and the Great Smoky Mountains, Mabry's Hill is the perfect backdrop for the city's fireworks display. This family-friendly celebration offers a variety of activities for all ages, including sack races, watermelon seed spitting contests, bocce, croquet, corn hole, tug-of-war, and a cake walk, among others. Attendees can engage in a reading of the Declaration of Independence and explore a historic document about the unfinished revolution in the United States. Don't miss the chance to win a delicious cake from a local bakery during the cake walk! The historic house museum will also be open for self-guided tours. We recommend purchasing pre-sale tickets early, as the event typically sells out. Limited tickets will be available at the door starting at 5:00 PM on July 4th for $20, with parking provided on-site and nearby. Come celebrate and make history with family and friends!
