The Virtual Naturalist Week is a free, all-ages online event where you can engage in daily activities led by skilled naturalists from Tremont. Challenge yourself with the Level Up Challenge to explore your surroundings, notice hidden patterns, and earn prizes from the comfort of your home.

For youth aged 12-15, the **John Thurman Trout Adventure Camp** offers a week of immersive, nature-focused experiences in the Great Smoky Mountains, allowing campers to learn fly fishing techniques and explore the ecology of mountain streams. Activities include hands-on science lessons, fly casting, and field studies to identify aquatic invertebrates—all under the mentorship of Trout Unlimited experts. Registration for this camp, costing $550 for Tennessee residents and $750 for out-of-state attendees, is open until March 1, 2026.

Adults aged 18 and older can also participate in the **Naturalist Week: Summer Camp for Adults** from June 15-19, featuring hands-on experiences in birding, plant identification, and animal tracking, along with cultural explorations and evening storytelling by the campfire. Priced at $1,111, this immersive retreat includes meals and lodging, fostering skill development and community in a supportive environment.
