Then, Poppy discovers a box of love letters tucked away in the attic; forgotten words from grandparents she never knew, brings a tale devotion and resilience that bridges generations.
As summer stretches on, Poppy must confront the heartbreak and secrets she's been running from. Because sometimes, the only way forward is to look back.
Author Bio:
Hazel Anthony grew up in East Tennessee, in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains. She currently lives in Alaska with her family. She has over a decade of experience working with victims of violent crimes as an attorney, and I Was Never Broken is her first published novel.
When she's not writing or working, Hazel loves crocheting or watching sports with her family. She is a third generation Tennessee Vol and a rabid Detroit Lions fan.
