Details:
Join us for "Beading Beauties," a monthly beadwork circle hosted by the Kittitas County Historical Museum in collaboration with the Ellensburg School District's Ichiskíin Language and Native American Culture Program. Kicking off on Monday, October 27, and meeting every 4th Monday from 6–8 PM, this gathering celebrates the rich art, history, and creativity of beadwork, rooted in the traditions of Indigenous peoples from the Columbia Plateau, including the Yakama, Umatilla, Klickitat, Nez Perce, K’tɨ́taas, and Pshwánapam. All skill levels are welcome to bring their projects, share techniques, and enjoy an evening of connection and creativity. Please bring your own supplies; refreshments will be provided. Note that there will be no Beading Beauties gathering in August. For questions, contact the Museum at kchm@kchm.org.
