D2 Healthy Senior Initiatives

Osceola County invites residents aged 55 and older to participate in our Healthy Senior Initiatives, promoting improved health and social connection through a variety of engaging activities. Each month, we offer two free events at the Robert Guevara Community Center, located at 501 Florida Parkway, Kissimmee, FL 34743.

Join us for Bingo, a lively social event filled with laughter, connection, and friendly competition, held twice a month from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Additionally, our Sit & Be Fit class, also held twice monthly from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., features low-impact seated exercises aimed at enhancing strength, flexibility, and balance for participants of all activity levels.

Furthermore, every other Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the UCF Health Mobile Clinic will provide free medical screenings, including blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, and hearing tests. Delivered by healthcare professionals and students, these screenings help residents stay informed and connected to their health needs.
