Unity Day is October 22, 2025, celebrated nationally to unite for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.Students can celebrate Unity Day by participating in the UNITYeveryDAY Art Contest held by SSD's FACE (Family and Community Engagement). THEME: Kindness, Acceptance, and Inclusion
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Oct. 10, 2025 at 3 PM
SUBMISSION FORMAT: Submissions should be emailed to face@ssdmo.org and include the student's name, age, school, district, and a short explanation of how their artwork supports the contest theme.
ARTISTIC MEDIUMS: Students may choose any artistic medium to express themselves, including but not limited to visual arts, written word, music, dance, photography, or any other form of creative expression. All submissions must be original and created specifically for this contest.Winners will receive a $25 Amazon gift card and be honored at the Oct. 28, 2025 SSD Board of Education meeting.View the full participation guidelines.
