This exhibition presents a collection of early works created by local artist Ashley Perez during her high school and college years. Inspired by the McCreless Library's 60th anniversary and its location within the Teen Center, the exhibition reflects on a time of discovery, experimentation, and creative risk taking. These pieces capture the joy of exploring new materials, subjects, and techniques, while also reflecting a period when the future felt uncertain and personal struggles often seemed insurmountable.
