Killeen Independent School District (KISD) is a public school district located in Killeen, Texas, serving students in grades PK-12. The district's motto is "Teach so that students learn to their maximum potential." KISD serves the cities of Killeen, Harker Heights, and Nolanville, as well as students residing at Fort Hood, covering western Bell County and a portion of Coryell County. It is recognized as a diverse district and is the 24th largest in Texas, with over 43,000 students across 53 campuses, including an Early College High School and a Career Center.
