English settlers saw a variety of new plants and animals when they arrived on Roanoke Island and described them for people back home in England. Lots of those plants and animals are still around! See if you can draw a Roanoke Island plant or animal based only on a description of it and take home your results.
*All scheduled programs begin on June 9th, and end on August 22nd. All programs are included with park admission & are subject to change due to inclement weather. Each guest must purchase a ticket to participate in any program.
