Jazzschool Director Lisa Mezzacappa leads a series of free hands-on workshops for independent musicians seeking to improve their administrative flow. Each Monday in June starting June 8, get tips on strategizing and streamlining your efforts to get your music out into the world. From writing about yourself and your music, to understanding how to fund your projects with grants, to planning a recording session and releasing a recording, participants will learn practical and concrete steps to run their music careers more effectively and efficiently. The final session on promoting your music will be led by Jazzschool Marketing Director, Sheryl Lynn Thomas.
