Unearth a Story: Colonial Science Series, is a four week program that explores trades and skills common during the colonial time period, through books, discussion, and hands-on projects! Unearth a Colonial Science Story!Chapter 2: Colonial Industrial Science Join us as we explore the ways the early Americans used and improved traditional skills, and invented new technologies, to build their communities and a new country. This program focuses on the skills and technologies used byPrinters, Tanners, Blacksmiths, Silversmiths, and Millers. We will go back in time to learn the STEM practices that Colonial leaders used to invent helpful improvements for a new nation. For children entering grades 2 - 5. Adult caregivers must remain in the library during the program. REGISTRATION is REQUIRED for this program series. Attendees must come to the Youth Services Department no earlier than 20 minutes before the program to check -in. Program will begin promptly at 2:00pm. Colonial Science Series supports CC250 and PA Forward Information Literacy and Civic and Social Literacy.
