Craft and Chat

Join us for a weekly crafting experience that caters to all ages with two unique events! On Thursdays from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm in the Burke Room, adults (ages 16 and up) are invited to "Craft and Chat," where you can bring your own projects—such as knitting, crochet, drawing, or painting—and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere while connecting with others. No registration is needed.

For our younger attendees, "PreK Craft and Play" offers preschoolers (ages 3-6) and their caregivers a fun-filled session of storytelling, crafting, and games. Each week features different hands-on activities following a story, and caregivers must stay with their children. This program is limited to 15 children and operates on a first-come, first-served basis, with tickets available at the Youth Services Department 20 minutes before the session in the Story Time Room.

Both programs support PA Forward's literacy initiatives—Civic and Social Literacy for adults and Basic Literacy for children. Come craft, chat, and create together!
