Each week features engaging presentations and interactive activities focused on the wonders of nature. Highlights include "Magic by Thomas" on June 24, showcasing a colorful magic show filled with laughs, and "All About Bugs!" on July 1, where participants can paint bug-themed canvases while learning about helpful insects. Enjoy a family movie day featuring "The Lorax" on July 8, complete with free popcorn, followed by a lively "Wacky Foam Party with Joel Tacey" on July 15. On July 22, meteorologist Blake Harms from WOOD TV8 will share insights into weather forecasting, and finally, on July 29, explore beekeeping with Abbott Farms to learn about the vital role bees play in our ecosystem.
Additionally, for middle to high school students, the "Plots & Petals Book Club" meets every other Wednesday (June 24, July 8, and July 22) at 2 PM.
