The Great Improv Showdown is a high-octane, bracket-style competition where the city’s quickest improvisers are drafted into random teams and forced to fight for survival. It’s got the energy of a buzzer-beater, the drama of a Game 7, and the chaos of a locker room celebration—all for just five bucks.
How the Game is Played:
The Draft: No pre-set teams here. Players are randomly assigned on the spot. Can they find chemistry before the whistle blows?
The Bracket: It’s a single-elimination gauntlet. One loss, and you’re hitting the showers. One win, and you’re one step closer to the Championship.
The Officials: Our Commissioner keeps the clock running and the games moving.
The MVP (You): You don’t need to know a thing about sports to love the Showdown. The audience acts as the Selection Committee. Your cheers, your laughs, and your votes determine who advances and who gets cut.
