Emmanuel Episcopal Church is a small but dynamic faith community which is diverse in membership, traditional in worship, and progressive in theology. For more than six decades Emmanuel has been committed to serving the community of which it is a part. Emmanuel’s long-standing partnership with Family Promise is a cornerstone of this service. A church which invites questioners, seekers, doubters, and skeptics, Emmanuel approaches faith with an open mind and a heart for people, animals, and the environment. The dedicated drinking fountain for people and companion animals is a popular meeting place for walkers and joggers on Keolu Drive. And a recent project to install photovoltaic panels on the church roof will be the first step in reimagining the way in which Emmanuel cares for these beautiful Hawai'i.
