Details:
Join us for a creative and hands-on Block-Printed Tea Towels workshop, led by instructor Autumn Neuenschwander, on Saturday, July 25, from 12:30 to 2:30 pm. This engaging class is open to participants aged 12 and up, with a maximum of 12 students, and costs $40.
During this 2 to 2.5-hour session, you will roll up your sleeves to design and carve custom block prints using recycled foam and natural objects like leaves and seed pods, which will be provided by the instructor. You’ll learn to create a reusable stamp by sketching and cutting out your design, then print original, repeating patterns directly onto flour sack tea towels.
This workshop is perfect for kids, teens, and parents looking to create together, with no prior printmaking experience necessary. Each participant will leave with two beautiful, printed tea towels—functional works of art that make excellent gifts or a delightful addition to any kitchen. Come embrace your creativity!
