Wild Edibles: Frugal Foraging Folks: Preserving for the Future

Details:

Registration required (ages 12+) We will talk about how to preserve what we've found by various methods. Canning, freezing and drying are common methods for this and some of the various aspects of each of these will be explored. For example, there are several ways to dry leaves to make tea, and there are ways to dry fruit that may differ. If accommodations are needed, please e-mail the instructor after registering and at least one week prior to the program.
