John Prather @ Solstice

John was born and raised in McAllen TX. His love of music began in 3rd grade when he got his first guitar from his mother, Kathy Prather. Throughout his school years, he continued to follow his passion both in school, and in his personal time.
He moved to Austin in 2001 where he started playing live music with his band, Nothing Left. They played all over Austin, including historic 6th Street, and surrounding areas. He later decided to move his focus to his solo career in 2010. While he still played both solo and with Nothing Left at different venues in and around Austin, he began to branch out to weddings, private parties, and corporate events.
