WonderKids: Turtles!

Join us for an exciting day of exploration and learning at **Homeschool Day at Four Rivers**, featuring the **WonderKids: Turtles!** program and **BioBlitz** event! Designed for families with children of all ages, from preschoolers to high school students, this free event will take place at McKinley Woods – Kerry Sheridan Grove.

**WonderKids: Turtles!** is tailored for children ages 2 to 7 and includes engaging storytelling, crafts, and interactive activities focused on turtles. Meanwhile, the **BioBlitz** invites middle and high school homeschoolers to participate as citizen scientists, exploring and documenting the diverse life in the forest preserve using scientific tools.

Please note, registration is required by June 2, and each child must be accompanied by a registered adult (who does not need to register separately). The event will feature accessible facilities and trails suitable for all abilities, with activities limited to a 1-mile hike on paved and natural surfaces. For participants needing special accommodations, please submit requests at least 48 hours in advance.
