DAWN - an exhibit by Sean Thompson

Bottle Works Ethnic Arts Center is excited to bring the art of Sean Thompson to our main gallery space from June 18 - July 25!
Join us for the opening reception as a part of the 3rd Thursday on 3rd Avenue Gallery Night on June 18 from 6-8 PM. Sean will be on hand to discuss his work. Light refreshments will be served. A $5 donation is suggested to attend.
Sean Thompson is a classical painter from Nashville, Tennessee. A student of classical antiquity, the Renaissance and the Dutch golden-age, he seeks to emulate the approach of the old masters. Narrative is the foundation of his work, pulling from myths and archetypes to tell timeless stories.
Thompson was educated at Penn State University for 4 years and has since continued to study the works of the old masters in pursuit of excellence of craftsmanship and a revival of the classical spirit in painting today.
