Join us for the Waterfront Park Fourth of July celebration on Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at TurfMutt Great Lawn, presented by the Louisville Metro Government, Mayor Craig Greenberg, and Ford. This free community event, part of the A250 commemoration honoring 250 years of American spirit, features an evening filled with live music, local food and drinks, and engaging activities for families.
Enjoy a diverse lineup of performances curated by the Kentucky Performing Arts, including styles from gospel to soul, culminating in the spectacular A250 Fireworks Show over the Ohio River at 10:00 PM. Families can participate in fun activities such as science experiments, music education, interactive displays from local emergency services, face painting, and more, running from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Parking is available at various locations, but arrive early as road closures begin at 4:00 PM. Prohibited items include glass containers, coolers, and pets, but you are welcome to bring refillable water bottles, blankets, and lawn chairs.
