Details:
Kids’ Summer Art Studio is a hands-on, immersive studio experience designed for young artists.
This program is FREE to all participants.
Inspired by the vibrant work of Alma Thomas, students will explore color, pattern, and movement while creating their own original artwork.
Each student will:
• Experiment with color through guided exercises
• Design and plan their own composition
• Create a large-scale canvas painting
• Take home paints and two quality brushes
This is more than an art class—it’s a true creative process from idea to finished work.
Sessions (July 14–16):
K–3: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Grades 4–6: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Older students (Grades 4–6) may also attend both sessions and serve as mentors.
All students will be featured in a community gallery exhibit later this summer.
No prior art experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to create.
With arts programming becoming more limited, this is a meaningful opportunity for kids to experience real art-making in a supportive, inspiring environment.
Spots are limited.
Registration will open soon.
