Since 2019, The Longbottom Bird Rescue has been raising awareness about domestic ducks through its free educational events. The Longbottom Bird Ranch is proof of concept, home to dozens of abandoned domestic ducks. Executive director Jimmy Longbotom talks about rehabilitating waterfowl in crisis and inspiring a community where domestic waterfowl are valued and treated with kindness. And yes, we’ll have some of the fine-feathered rescues on hand.
