Summer Fun and Wellness Fest

Summer Fun and Wellness Fest 2026 will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, at Community Park (enter off South Main Street) in Jacksonville. The event will feature fun family activities, giveaways and a chance to celebrate community health and wellness.
A drive-thru food distribution courtesy of Central Illinois Food Bank and BCBS/Hy-Vee will be available starting at 4 p.m. The Jacksonville Drumline Institute will perform, and Ryne Turke of Fitness World will lead physical activities from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Free meals will also be available from the Salvation Army Food Canteen in collaboration with Spirit of Faith Soup Kitchen. The Lions Club will provide vision and hearing screenings, along with other health and wellness opportunities. SIU Medicine will offer free booster seats, available in limited quantities. Ferris wheel rides and a Bike Rodeo will take place in the Chamber parking lot. Local organizations will be on hand to share information about youth summer activities and camps.
