Onslow Community Outreach operates several programs including a soup kitchen, emergency shelter, free medical clinic, free dental clinic and Christmas Cheer. The agency is governed by a board of directors who appoint an executive director to oversee the day-to-day operations. The director is supported by a management team of clinic director, shelter director, soup kitchen director. For over 30 years, Onslow Community Outreach has helped meet the basic needs of families and individuals in the community. The Soup Kitchen program distributes more than 45,000 meals annually while the shelter program provides nearly 10,000 bed nights to homeless individuals. The free clinic is home to 4,600 patients who receive primary care.
