This historic milestone—250 years since our nation's founding—deserves an epic celebration, and we're delivering! Experience one of NC's largest and longest fireworks displays!

Free admission for DoW ID cardholders and their guests. Trusted Traveler remains suspended. All guests ages 18 and older who do not have a DoW-issued ID card must be sponsored by an authorized cardholder in order to obtain a visitor pass in advance—no exceptions. Passes must be requested by June 22 for foreign nationals and June 29 for all other guests. The Visitor Center will be closed on July 3 and is currently scheduled to be closed on July 4.
