The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens is Northeast Florida's largest fine arts museum, located on the St. Johns River in Jacksonville. Established in 1958, it houses a collection of over 5,000 works of art spanning from ancient times to the 21st century, including European and American paintings, sculptures, and decorative arts. The museum also features 2.5 acres of historically significant gardens, designed by notable landscape architects. Its mission is to engage and inspire through the arts, gardens, and education, offering programs for all ages and abilities, including an award-winning interactive education center called Art Connections.
