First Coast Flute Choir Concert: Movie Night

Come join us for a free concert featuring the First Coast Flute Choir! We will celebrate the excitement and nostalgia of the screen, featuring music from beloved film and television scores alongside an original work titled Popcorn. Popcorn composed by Julie Stone is an original work based on Morse code rhythms of the letters P-O-P-C-O-R-N. When POP and CORN are layered, it forms a palindrome (minus the last note) in 3/8 time!

Founded in 2014, the First Coast Flute Choir is a distinguished ensemble of community musicians from diverse backgrounds. Showcasing the full range of the flute family, the group is dedicated to cultural outreach and artistic expression. Their performances showcase polished, high-quality music that spans diverse styles, cultural traditions, and historical eras; creating an engaging and enriching experience for all audiences.
