The Human Services Coalition (HSC) of Tompkins County is dedicated to enhancing the delivery of health and human services in the Tompkins County area and the broader region. Their mission is to advance effective and equitable services by shaping systems, strengthening community organizations, connecting people to resources, and leading collaborative efforts to create lasting positive change. HSC operates as the lead agency for the local Continuum of Care (CoC NY-510), working collaboratively with public, private, and not-for-profit agencies to end homelessness. They provide services such as health insurance assistance, facilitate a 2-1-1 information and referral contact center, and offer human services planning, homeless and housing coordination, and consulting. HSC also focuses on leadership development and advocates for systemic change to improve the quality of life for New Yorkers.
