After the death of her mother, Anna throws caution to the wind and travels to an empty Italian villa offered to her by Matteo Costa, a man she barely knows. Enjoying herself in the Tuscan countryside, Anna is caught in the house by Matteo's mother and quickly claims to be his fiancée to avoid any problems. But she struggles to hold up this illusion when she meets Matteo’s handsome cousin Michael, and the pair find themselves hopelessly attracted to one another.
