Details:
Join us on Thursday, June 25th for a fantastic evening featuring the 6th Annual Youth Mental Health Night at the Minnesota Discovery Center in Chisholm! This event promotes healthy living and mental wellness with local mental health resources, educational activities, games, prizes, and breathtaking RideMN BMX stunt shows. Families can also meet and take photos with Bruce the Bear, a beloved children's storybook character. Admission is free, and we encourage everyone to attend!
Additionally, on the same day, join the Evening Hike with Redhead Redfeet at Redhead MTB Park, starting at 5:00 PM. Led by Kari Kilen, this free, moderately difficult hike is open to ages 16 and older, offering an opportunity to explore the scenic trails. Sign a waiver upon arrival at the trailhead—no registration needed. Don’t forget to collect your “Hiking Passport” at the MDC front desk to track your hiking miles and earn rewards throughout the summer. For more information on the Hiking Passport Program, contact Gary Kaunonen at (218) 969-9049 or garyk@mndiscoverycenter.org. We look forward to seeing you there!
