Join us for a two-wheeled adventure on Redhead MTB Park’s Boneyard Loop! This 1.5 hour tour starts off with a 30-minute basic safety and skills presentation. Then, your guide will lead you out onto the dirt trail, taking you through the twists and turns of the loop, pausing occasionally to share the labor history that shaped the land.
Okay. We know a name like “Boneyard” Loop might sound a little intimidating, but this trail segment is rated “green” for beginners, and it’s a great place to get introduced to mountain biking if you haven’t done it before. Having some previous “vanilla” (paved road) biking experience is advised.
Participants can bring their own mountain bike or rent one at a discounted price from 30West Bike Shop, which is located in MDC’s lobby. Helmets are required and are also available for rent. Safety first!
