Details:
This is the second class in a series of four. In each you will learn new, slightly more challenging techniques until you have a set of four matching pieces. In this class you will be making a set of three shiny bangle bracelets of 12-gauge sterling, copper and brass, with a hammered finish if you like. You will be learning to use different tools and processes including wire cutters, file, hammer, mini-torch, flux and solder, pickling silver, and a Dremel for buffing with polishing compounds. Each process will include new safety measures. The class will be 2 days, on August 21st and 28th, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at our B-2 location at 1901 7th Ave East in Hibbing. The cost will be $80 for members and $90 for non-members with all materials supplied. You can register online at www.borealisartguild.com or by stopping by the main studio. Please call us at 218-208-5363 with any questions.
