Upcycling: Trash to Treasure

Join us for the Upcycling Series at the Robert A. Lee Rec Center, where participants ages 10 and up can transform everyday throwaways into creative art pieces. These hands-on classes, taking place on Sundays—August 2 (Cork Critters), August 9 (Trash to Treasure), and August 16 (Tee-rific Transformations) from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.—focus on sustainable making, building creative confidence, and exploring how small design choices can help reduce waste. No prior experience is necessary; just bring your curiosity and willingness to create, all for a $10 fee.
