This program series will give participants experience caring for our watershed; including informational sessions about our watershed! Wednesday, June 17th – “Wildlife in our Watershed” Learn about the animals that live throughout the watershed — from black bears and mountain lions to birds of prey — and discover how these species are connected to the local ecosystem. Wednesday, July 15th – “What’s in your Backyard?” A presentation on common (and not so common) grasses, plants, and seeds in our mountain communities. Wednesday, August 19th – “All About Algae” Learn about algae in our mountain waters and their role in a healthy ecosystem with Al Polonsky, “Denver’s Premier Water Nerd” This program is free, but registration is required.
