Make music part of your summer rhythm at Concerts on the Canal, presented on the Kruse Family Stardust Terrace at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center in downtown Indianapolis. Every other Thursday evening in June and July, unwind by the Canal with live performances in a relaxed, open-air setting. The 2026 series will showcase an exciting mix of talent — perfect for a night out with friends, family, or colleagues.
The History Center will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with admission.
Season packages for Concerts on the Canal are available by contacting the Welcome Center at 317-232-1882.
Table Reservation Details
You may reserve a table on the Terrace. Due to construction, seating on the east side of the Canal Walk will not be available.
Tables of 8 are $90 | $70 for IHS members.
Tables of 4 are $65 | $45 for IHS members.
Tables #1-35 can seat up to (and no more than) 8 guests.
Tables #36-57 can seat up to (and no more than) 4 guests.
Free parking at the History Center is on a first-come basis. Nearby street or garage parking is available for a fee. Note that current construction has limited available street parking on both New York and Ohio Streets.
Food and beverage service will be available from the Stardust Terrace Café operated by Jonathan Byrd’s, opening at 5 p.m. All alcohol must be purchased on site.
