Join us in celebrating the accomplishments of the Leadership Ames Class of 39! This special ceremony will honor the dedication, hard work, and growth of our graduates, who have spent the past year enhancing their leadership skills and community involvement.
Our keynote speaker will be Stephanie Salasek.
Schedule of Events:
5:00pm- Social hour
5:45pm – Dinner opens, presentation and graduation to follow
7:00pm – Social time to resume
8:00pm – Event concludes
About the speaker: Stephanie Salasek
Stephanie’s brother called her “fatty fiddle” as a kid and the P.E. teacher nicknamed her “marshmallow.” She spent most of her K-12 years on the sidelines trying to get picked for anything. Today she works with subject matter experts who want to be picked as great leaders with high emotional intelligence and recognized as effective speakers.
Stephanie has career experience in college administration, health care, corporate training, and secondary teaching. She believes successful leaders think “people first problem second” and break the script with a good sense of humor.
