Choosing Sides: David KelseyBassett, Oak Kelsey & Darwin Dyce

Choosing sides is a collaborative project exploring the connections between sound and image. Starting with visually paired album covers, we create new songs and artwork inspired by the moods, themes, and aesthetics of those records. Oak
Kelsey and David KelseyBassett contribute both visual art and music, while Darwin Dyce brings songwriting and storytelling rooted in his work as an educator and activist. Together, they reimagine familiar media into new creative expressions that
invite reflection, curiosity, and cross-disciplinary dialogue.
Each art piece will have detailed “liner notes” describing the process and QR codes linking the viewer/listener to the corresponding songs we have made that connects to the visuals.
