The Milford Public Library has served the residents of Milford Village and Milford Township for over 85 years, moving to its current location in 2003. As part of The Library Network (TLN), it provides access to a wide range of materials beyond its own collection through a cooperative of 65 libraries in southeast Michigan. The library offers books, media, newspapers, magazines, large-print books, downloadable audiobooks, e-books, and music. It also houses special collections on autism, genealogy, and the Civil War, as well as microfilmed copies of the Milford Times. Patrons have access to 16 public computers, wireless internet, quiet study rooms, and a 75-person community room. The Friends of the Milford Public Library operate a used bookstore called "Friendly Finds" in the library lobby, with proceeds supporting library programming.
