“Ties to America250" with SH Memorial Museum and Republic of Texas Presidential Library

Our community partners at Sam Houston Memorial Museum and Republic of Texas Presidential Library will be joining us on Wednesday, July 22, at 10:30 am in the Staggs Community Room, bringing items from their collection related to America 250. Items include a carpet bag belonging to a signer of the Declaration of Independence, and a locket given to Sam Houston by Andrew Jackson from the Marquis de Lafayette. Bring history to life with us at the Library!
