SWISS/AMERICAN PISTOL LEAGUE, 2025
An informal pistol match between the Armes Réunies La Côtière – Engollon club of Switzerland and the Columbus Rifle Club of Columbus, Nebraska; open to members of each club. A combination of NRA and ISSF pistol rules are used.
Firearms
Any pistol or revolver chambered for .22 Rimfire, Short, Long, or Long Rifle (no Magnums) or Center Fire calibers .32 thru .45, there are no separate classes for Rimfire or Center Fire. Iron or “dot” sights may be used.

B-19, 50/25 meter reduced to 50/25 yards

25 meters Swiss / 25 yards US
5 sighting shots 5 minutes
5 shots precision 5 minutes
5 shots precision 3 minutes
5 shots precision 1 minute
5 shots rapid fire 30 seconds
5 shots rapid fire 20 seconds
5 shots rapid fire 10 seconds
A scope may be used to check shots during the slow fire stages. A one-hand hold is required for .22-.38 wadcutter calibers, a two-hand hold may be used for 9mm and calibers larger than .38.
Dates
The match runs from April thru September, practice days are held in the other months. Match and practice days for the 2025 are scheduled on the CRC calendar, search for Swiss/American under EVENTS. The members don’t have to all participate at the same time and may shoot at their own convenience, just make sure your scores are turned in to Tom Bryan.
To determine the winning club, the scores will be submitted at the end of each month, April through September. For each shooter only the best two results are used. The number of shooters is not fixed; for example, if the Swiss have 5 shooters, the best 5 shooters of American are chosen.
